Success stories
Managers who avoided difficult conversations
Technology company · Barcelona and Madrid · 12 managers · 12 hours
The challenge. Managers avoided difficult conversations with their teams. So much so that, before the programme, when someone in a team had to be let go, it wasn’t their manager who did it: it was their manager’s manager.
What we did. A programme built on their real cases: communicating strategic changes, giving tough feedback and saying what nobody wanted to say. Each manager practised several situations, with instant feedback and video recordings.
The result. In the following months, managers started putting those conversations in their diaries and having them with their teams. According to the client, the team is more effective: when an issue is put on the table, it gets solved sooner.
A sales team that talked a lot and listened little
Large food company · sales team
The challenge. A large sales team that talked a lot and listened little to its customers. “Listen more” is advice everyone gives and nobody knows how to apply.
What we did. We turned listening into something concrete and trainable: what to listen for, what kind of questions to ask, and how to make a sharper, tailored case for each customer afterwards, practising with their real situations.
The result. According to the client, sales, cross-selling and customer satisfaction all improved.
Data teams nobody listened to
Large technology company · international teams · 50 people
The challenge. Data teams gave long, unengaging presentations of their reports. People switched off, especially on video calls.
What we did. A course in presentations with data storytelling: turning a report into a story, getting to the point and practising with their own presentations.
The result. Their presentations are now shorter, more engaging and more conversational. They try new formats and get far more attention from their audience, including remotely.
